Brooks Hire Service started in 1979 when Doug Brooks first purchased 2 u/s compressors on bankcard. Since then, the company has grown, purchasing the first piece of mobile plant in 1982, an 8 tonne JEC crane, by tender, which Doug drove to Eneabba. At the time of buying the crane, he was operating the business from a shed at Eneabba working 18 hour days and living 5 days a week in a humpy at the back of the shed while also working locally as a fitter. Saturdays consisted of driving to Perth to obtain parts and Sunday was accounts day and returning to Eneabba.
Over the years, the brooks hire fleet has grown to more than 150 pieces of machinery. They include Komatsu loaders, excavators ranging from 1.5 tonne to 40 tonne, dozers, and rollers of varying types and water carts. These machines have a back up of experienced mechanical staff that are on call for servicing the equipment on site. With a fleet of 4-wheel drives and service vehicles, Brooks Hire can service all our clients needs.
We have invested heavily in new equipment over the past years and an increased staff level to cope with our client needs 24 hours a day. Brooks Hire are now proud to have the largest fleet of new and recent medium sized loaders available for hire in WA.
